D. Douglas Craigo is a native of Charleston,
WV. A 1973 graduate of Mountain State Baptist High School in Alderson,
WV, Doug received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from Bob Jones University in 1978. He has been certified by the Frank
Furher School of Finance.
Doug began his career in the retail automobile
business at Bert Wolfe Ford in 1978. Since that time, he as worked for
several other dealerships and has many years of experience in all facets
of the business, including sales, service, finance and insurance, and
administration. Doug is an expert in all areas of the business with a
special emphasis on European vehicles.
Doug brings his love and knowledge of motorcycles,
recreational vehicles, and boats to WV Auto Sales, which recently became
a QLINK franchisee. He will prove invaluable with his sales
and service knowledge of this fine brand of ATV's and MOTOR SCOOTERS.
Doug and Dana, his wife of 28 years, have two beautiful,
young daughters, Amy and Christen. In his leisure time Doug enjoys boating
and water sports. As a member of the Ridge Runner running club, Doug has
participated in the Charleston Distance Run and many other competitive
running events for over twenty five years.
R. A."Dick" Daugherty,
of Dunbar, is
a West Virginia native and a graduate of G. W. High School. While at
West Virginia University, he was an English and Political Science major,
and was active in many campus activities. He is a proud member of the
Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Dick holds a captain's license through the
United States Coast Guard and is an active member of the Great Kanawha
River Navy as well as the Kanawha River Power Squadron.
In 1984, Dick began his automotive career at Capitol Chrysler in
South Charleston, WV. He served as a top sales producer and, at different
times, served as the Used Car Manager and as the Finance and Insurance
Manager. Dick was the General Manager of the C. W. Lewis Cadillac, Pontiac,
Chevrolet, Inc. dealership in White Sulphur Springs. While there, Dick
arranged a successful change in ownership in which it was necessary
to procure financing and corporate approval from General Motors for
the buyer.
With twenty-plus years of experience, Dick brings a wealth of knowledge
and a loyal customer following to West Virginia Auto Sales. He loves
cars and he loves people, so it is natural for him to want to be of
maximum service to all his customers. "Simple, Easy, Fast and Friendly"
best define what Dick is all about.
Dick and his wife Nancy have a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and
Beth, in Charlotte, NC. Their grandchildren Merideth and Brady are the
apples of their eyes! Dick's extended family has strong ties to the
community and love the "West Virginia Hills."
Tim McCormick
is Manager of our Powersports Center . He has 30 years of mechanical experience repairing scooters, atvs, motorcycles and automobiles, and has managed both parts and service departments during his career. Tim is a graduate of St. Albans High School, has attended college at the University of South Carolina, West Virginia State University, and is a United States Marine Corps veteran.
Tim is a near lifelong resident of St. Albans and still live there with is wife, Tanith, and children, Christian and Emily. They enjoy riding motorcycles and are Charter members of ROK (Riders of Kawasaki) Chapter 220 and a member of the Nitro Moose Lodge. See Tim for all of your powersports toys and accessories!
